About This Job

The Indus River System Authority (IRSA) is recruiting project staff for its Telemetry Project, installing a real-time discharge-monitoring system at 27 key sites across the Indus Basin Irrigation System. One post of Accounts Assistant is on offer to support the project's finance function.

The Accounts Assistant will provide comprehensive support to the Assistant Budget and Accounts Officer on all matters pertaining to accounts, including maintenance of financial records, preparation and verification of vouchers and bills, reconciliation of accounts, and ensuring compliance with applicable financial rules, regulations and procedures. Eligible candidates must be up to 30 years of age with a 2nd class B.Com degree with auditing and advanced accounting, or a 2nd class B.A./B.Sc with 3 years of postgraduate experience in accounts/audit service, along with proficiency in MS Office.

This is a project-mode appointment on the PPS-06 pay package of Rs. 105,000 per month plus 5% annual increment, with posting possible anywhere at project sites in Pakistan. Qualification Required
