MU App Studio ("we", "us", "our") is committed to protecting the privacy and personal data of our users. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, share, and protect your personal information when you use the Sarkari Jobs Pakistan mobile application ("App").

This Privacy Policy applies to all users of the App, including free-tier users, registered users, and Premium Subscription holders. By using the App, you consent to the collection and use of your information as described in this policy.

We handle your data in compliance with applicable Pakistani data protection principles and, where applicable, internationally recognised privacy standards. If you do not agree with this Privacy Policy, please do not use the App.

2. Information We Collect

We collect the following categories of information:

Account Information: When you register, we collect your full name, email address, chosen username, and encrypted password. Your email is used for account verification, security alerts, and service communications.

Profile Information: Information you optionally provide to personalise your experience, including your city, domicile (province of residence), education level, gender, and preferred BPS grade for job matching purposes.

Payment Information: For Premium Subscription verification only, we collect your EasyPaisa or JazzCash wallet/phone number and transaction ID. We do not collect, process, or store banking credentials, PINs, or full financial account information.

Device Information: We automatically collect technical information about the device you use to access the App, including device model, operating system version, unique device identifiers, mobile network information, and app version.

Usage Data: We collect information about how you interact with the App, including screens visited, job listings viewed, searches performed, notifications received and opened, and features used. This data helps us improve the App.

Push Notification Token: We collect your Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) device token to enable delivery of push notifications about new jobs, deadlines, and alerts to your device.

Communications: If you contact us by email or through the App, we retain records of that communication to respond to your queries and improve our support.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect for the following purposes:

• Account Management: To create, verify, maintain, and secure your account; to authenticate your identity when you log in; to communicate important account-related information.

• Service Delivery: To display relevant job listings based on your profile preferences; to personalise your experience; to provide the features and functionality of the App.

• Push Notifications: To send you timely alerts for new government job postings, application deadline reminders, examination schedules, result announcements, and premium subscription updates.

• Premium Subscription: To verify and activate Premium Subscription payments; to manage subscription status and expiry.

• Advertising: To serve banner and interstitial advertisements to free-tier users via Google AdMob. Ad personalisation may use your advertising identifier.

• Analytics and Improvement: To analyse usage patterns, monitor App performance, diagnose technical issues, and improve the App's features and user experience.

• Legal Compliance: To comply with applicable laws, regulations, and legal processes; to investigate and prevent fraud, abuse, or other prohibited activities.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to any third party for their own marketing or commercial purposes.

4. Push Notifications

With your explicit permission, we send push notifications to your device. Notification types include:

• New government job postings matching your profile preferences
• Application deadline reminders for jobs you have saved
• Examination and test schedule announcements
• Result announcements for examinations you may be tracking
• Premium subscription expiry alerts and renewal reminders
• Important service announcements and App updates

You can manage your notification preferences at any time:

• Within the App: Go to Profile > Notifications and toggle notifications on or off.
• Device Settings: Go to your device Settings > Apps > Sarkari Jobs Pakistan > Notifications to manage permissions at the system level.

Please note that disabling notifications will cause you to miss timely job alerts and deadline reminders. We recommend keeping notifications enabled for the best experience.

5. Data Storage and Security

Storage: Your account data, profile information, and usage data are stored on Supabase servers, which are hosted on Amazon Web Services (AWS) infrastructure. Firebase stores your push notification token. Locally cached data such as saved job preferences may be stored on your device.

Security Measures: We implement industry-standard technical and organisational security measures to protect your data, including:

• All data in transit is encrypted using HTTPS/TLS protocols.
• Data at rest is encrypted on Supabase/AWS servers.
• Passwords are hashed using secure cryptographic algorithms — they are never stored or transmitted in plain text.
• Access to user data is restricted to authorised personnel on a need-to-know basis.
• Regular security reviews and monitoring of our systems.

Limitations: While we take all reasonable precautions to safeguard your data, no system can guarantee absolute security against all threats. In the event of a data breach that affects your personal information, we will notify affected users as required by applicable law.

6. Third-Party Services and Data Sharing

To operate the App, we share certain data with trusted third-party service providers:

• Supabase: Receives your account data, profile information, and usage data. Supabase is hosted on AWS and complies with industry data protection standards.

• Google Firebase (FCM): Receives your device push notification token to deliver alerts. Firebase operates under Google's Privacy Policy.

• Google AdMob: May receive your device advertising identifier and usage data to serve personalised advertisements to free-tier users. You can opt out of ad personalisation in your device Settings > Google > Ads.

• EasyPaisa / JazzCash: We do not share your personal data with these payment providers. Payment interactions occur directly between you and the payment provider through their own platforms.

We only share the minimum data necessary for each service to function. We do not authorise third-party service providers to use your data for their own marketing purposes. We require all service providers to maintain appropriate security standards.

We may also disclose your information to law enforcement or regulatory authorities if required by law, court order, or other legal process.

7. Advertisements

Free-tier users of Sarkari Jobs Pakistan are served banner and interstitial advertisements delivered by Google AdMob. AdMob may collect and use your device's Android Advertising ID (AAID) and other device information to serve personalised advertisements tailored to your interests.

To opt out of personalised advertising: • Go to your device Settings > Google > Ads > Opt out of Ads Personalisation (Android). • You can also reset your Advertising ID from the same menu.

Opting out of personalised ads does not remove ads; it means you will see non-personalised advertisements instead.

Premium Subscription holders enjoy a completely ad-free experience throughout the App. We do not endorse the products or services advertised through AdMob and are not responsible for the content of third-party advertisements.

8. Premium Payment Data

When you subscribe to a Premium Plan, we collect your EasyPaisa or JazzCash wallet number (mobile number) and the transaction ID of your payment. This information is used solely for the purpose of manually verifying your subscription payment.

We do not: • Collect or store your wallet PIN, banking password, or full financial account credentials. • Process payments directly — all payments are made directly from your mobile wallet to our account through the respective payment platform. • Share your payment verification data with any third party except as required for fraud prevention.

Financial transaction records (transaction ID and wallet number) may be retained for up to 7 years for accounting and compliance purposes, in accordance with applicable Pakistani financial regulations.

9. Data Retention

We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active and for a reasonable period thereafter to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.

Specific retention periods:

• Account and profile data: Retained while your account is active. Deleted within 30 days of account deletion.
• Usage data and logs: Typically retained for 12 months for analytics and security purposes, then deleted or anonymised.
• Payment records (transaction IDs and wallet numbers): Retained for up to 7 years for accounting and regulatory compliance.
• Push notification tokens: Deleted upon account deletion or when you disable notifications permanently.

When you delete your account through the App, we initiate a deletion process that removes your personal data within 30 days. Some anonymised or aggregated data may be retained indefinitely as it cannot be linked back to any individual.

10. Your Rights

Subject to applicable law, you have the following rights regarding your personal data:

• Right of Access: You may request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
• Right of Rectification: You may request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data. Most profile data can be updated directly within the App.
• Right of Erasure: You may request deletion of your personal data by deleting your account via Profile > Delete Account, or by contacting us.
• Right to Restrict Processing: You may request that we limit the processing of your data in certain circumstances.
• Right to Data Portability: You may request a copy of your data in a portable format by contacting us.
• Right to Object: You may object to the processing of your data for direct marketing purposes.

11. Children's Privacy

Sarkari Jobs Pakistan is not directed at, designed for, or intended for use by children under the age of 13 years. We do not knowingly collect, process, or store personal information from children under 13.

If you are a parent or legal guardian and believe that your child under 13 has provided personal information to us, please contact us immediately at pak.gov.jobs.hub@gmail.com. We will promptly investigate and, if confirmed, delete any such information from our systems.

Users between the ages of 13 and 18 should use the App only with the knowledge and consent of a parent or legal guardian.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, the services we offer, or applicable legal requirements. When we make material changes to this Privacy Policy, we will notify you through:

• An in-app notification or alert displayed upon your next login.
• An email notification sent to the address associated with your account.
• An updated "Last Updated" date at the top of this policy.

Your continued use of the App following notification of any changes to this Privacy Policy constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy. We encourage you to review this Privacy Policy periodically.
