NUST's Procurement and Local Purchase Directorate at the H-12 campus in Islamabad is recruiting an Assistant Director (Procurement) for laboratory, IT, electrical, electronics and digital equipment. The role ensures efficient, transparent and compliant procurement through effective tendering, bid evaluation, contract management and inventory control in line with PPRA Rules and NUST policies. Duties include reviewing BOQs of IT/Labs/Electrical/Electronics/Digital/Mechanical equipment, initiating tendering on E-PADS 2.0, bid evaluation, CST compilation and pre-audit processing, addressing bidder queries, preparing contract agreements and purchase orders, and inventory management on the university ERP.
Candidates must hold at minimum a BBA or BS in Supply Chain Management or equivalent from an HEC-recognized university; an MBA in Supply Chain Management, or a BS in Telecommunication, IT, Software or Information Security, is a desirable addition. The role requires 2-3 years of experience in public procurement in a reputed organization, with 1 year of inventory management or warehousing experience considered a plus. Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with EPADS 2.0 procurement processes are required skills. The eligible age range is 25 to 45 years.

Qualification Required
- Qualification:Essential: BBA / BS (Supply Chain Management) or equivalent from an HEC recognized University. Desirable: MBA Supply Chain Management and BS in Telecommunication, Information Technology, Software, or Information Security from an HEC recognized University. Required skills: MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PPT); EPADS 2.0 procurement processes.
