NUST's Works Directorate at the H-12 campus in Islamabad is recruiting an Assistant Engineer (Electrical & Mechanical), responsible for the planning, supervision, execution, operation, maintenance, inspection, testing and commissioning of electrical and mechanical systems, including 11KV underground electrical distribution, internal building electrical services, external water supply systems and tube wells across NUST campuses and facilities.

Key duties include supervising installation and testing of HT underground power cables, transformers and protection equipment, coordinating with IESCO for HT connections and approvals, monitoring internal electrical systems including lighting and protection/earthing systems, investigating electrical faults, supervising water supply pipelines, pumps and control panels, and monitoring tube well performance including yield, discharge and maintenance records. Candidates must hold a DAE in Electrical & Mechanical technology, with 5-7 years of relevant experience required and 10 years considered desirable. The eligible age range is 20 to 45 years.
