About This Job

NUST Institute of Policy Studies (NIPS), under the University Main Office at NUST's H-12 campus in Islamabad, is recruiting an Assistant Manager Collaboration. The individual will collaborate with internal and external parties, provide coordination support for knowledge-based activities and events, promote collaborative knowledge-based partnerships, develop and maintain networks across public and private sectors locally, nationally and internationally, and collaborate with other think tanks and policy centres on matters of mutual interest.

Additional responsibilities include working closely with private, government, industry and professional-services organisations to build relationships and raise the credibility of NIPS research projects, helping transfer knowledge to society through outreach such as collaborative research, seminars, workshops and lectures, maintaining a pool of experts with updated profiles, facilitating research and analysis as required, and identifying opportunities to deepen relationships through events, meetings, webinars and training. Candidates must hold a Master's degree from an HEC-recognized university, with 1-2 years of relevant experience in a reputed organization; prior experience in a Higher Education Institution is a plus. The eligible age range is 25 to 45 years.

Qualification Required

• Qualification:Master's degree from an HEC recognized University. Required skills: excellent communication skills, good interpersonal skills, dynamic and multilevel networking, persuasion, public speaking and convening skills, knowledge of think tanks.
• Experience:Essential: minimum 1-2 years relevant experience in a reputed organization. Desirable: experience in a Higher Education Institution (HEI) will be given preference.
