Health Department has announced a recruitment drive for 1 Assistant Professor (Neonatology) post on a permanent basis. The opportunity is open to both male and female candidates who meet the prescribed eligibility criteria, and the vacancy falls under the purview of BPSC.

This role carries a BPS-18 pay scale. Compensation and benefits will follow the standard government framework for permanent appointments, including all admissible allowances as per departmental rules.

Duty station: Merit (All Balochistan). Selected candidates will be required to report to this location, although the department reserves the right to transfer or reassign personnel to other locations within Balochistan as operational needs arise.

The posts have been distributed as follows: 1 open merit. Candidates applying under reserved quotas must provide supporting documentation at the time of application or during the interview stage to validate their eligibility under the relevant category.

A balochistan domicile is mandatory for this position. Candidates must possess a valid domicile certificate issued by the appropriate authority, and this will be verified during the selection process.

The prescribed age limit is 25-35 years (as on the closing date). Age relaxation rules issued by the government from time to time shall apply.

Age note: General upper age relaxation up to 43 years granted by the Government of Balochistan in favour of fresh candidates of the Province as well as serving government servants.

To be eligible, candidates must hold MBBS or equivalent Medical qualification recognized/registered by the PM&DC; AND MD/MS/FCPS or equivalent qualifications in the specialty approved by SRC and recognized/registered by the PM&DC; Two (2) years clinical experience in relevant subject in a recognized Institute after Level-III qualification; Two (2) research publications are required in relevant subject. from a recognized institution. All degrees and certificates must be verified, and candidates should be prepared to present original documents during the selection process.

Applicants are required to have Two (2) years clinical experience in relevant subject in a recognized Institute after Level-III qualification.. Relevant experience must be substantiated with proper documentation, including experience certificates from previous employers.

A MCQs will be conducted as part of the recruitment process.
