Deputy Director (Construction)

About This Job

NUST's Works Directorate in Islamabad is recruiting a Deputy Director (Construction) to oversee the execution of construction projects in compliance with contractual, regulatory and NUST standards. Responsibilities include supervising construction and development works to ensure adherence to PPRA and PEC standards, maintaining auditable project records, checking pace and quality of works, processing interim payment certificates, verifying variation-order quantities, supervising field and laboratory testing, and managing staff and administrative matters under the Director Works.

Candidates must hold a BE/BSc in Engineering (Civil or related field) from an HEC-recognized university, with an MS/MSc in Civil Engineering considered desirable; retired Colonels/Lt Colonels or equivalent from the Corps of Engineers with construction experience from NLC, CWO, DW&CE or Housing Directorate may also apply. Twelve years of relevant construction and maintenance experience is required, with 15 years considered desirable. Knowledge of PPRA/PEC regulations, scheduling, risk analysis and AutoCAD is expected. The eligible age range is 35 to 59 years.

Qualification Required
