The National IT Board (NITB), Government of Pakistan, has advertised the post of Director Information Security & Data Privacy through the National Job Portal (NJP), seeking an experienced cyber security leader to oversee Security Operations Centre (SOC) activities, threat intelligence, cyber incident management and data protection for government digital platforms. This Grade NITS-3 contract position offers one vacancy at NITB headquarters in Islamabad, forming part of a wider batch of director-level technology roles advertised together this month.

Eligible candidates must have a minimum of sixteen years of education, with a Bachelor's degree as the baseline and a Master's degree preferred, in Computer Science, Cyber Security, Information Security or a related field from an HEC-recognized institution, with roughly 40 acceptable degree titles listed at associate through doctoral level. Candidates must also possess 10 to 12 years of experience in cyber security operations or information security, including at least 3 years in a managerial or supervisory role, with government, critical infrastructure or enterprise technology environment experience preferred, and relevant information security certifications considered valuable. The prescribed age bracket is 35 to 55 years.
