This is a high-profile appointment at one of Pakistan's key economic regulatory bodies, responsible for competition and antitrust oversight across the economy, based in Islamabad, and represents an important addition to the Commission's decision-making body.
Eligible candidates must hold a Master's degree (at least 16 years of education) from a recognized institution and possess not less than twenty years of professional experience in accountancy, commerce, economics, finance, or law; the maximum age limit is 62 years. The selected Members will be appointed for a three-year term, with remuneration set at the median of the MP-I pay scale plus annual increments, and will cease to hold office upon reaching 65 years of age or on expiry of their term, whichever comes first. Interested and eligible candidates should apply online within fifteen days of publication of the advertisement through the National Job Portal (www.njp.gov.pk); incomplete applications or those received after the closing date will not be entertained, and only shortlisted candidates will be called for interview.
