The Finance Division, Government of Pakistan, is recruiting for its newly established Government Payments and Receipts Transformation Unit (GPRTU), created to drive the coordinated, standardized and accelerated adoption of the Raast instant payment platform across government entities for both payments and receipts. One vacancy has been announced for the post of Solution/Enterprise Architect, in Management Position Scale MP-I, based in Islamabad. Reporting to the Chief Transformation Officer/Project Director, the selected candidate will assess the IT systems of client government departments (including ERPs, payment portals and network infrastructure) for Raast readiness, define target architectures for entities connecting to Raast, design the Raast Connect aggregation architecture, develop re-usable reference architectures and integration blueprints, ensure alignment with Raast technical standards, SBP regulatory requirements and API security best practices, review vendor and system-integrator designs, and provide hands-on technical oversight during implementation, testing and rollout of government Raast integrations.

Applicants must hold a Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems or a related discipline, together with a minimum of ten years of professional experience in enterprise architecture related to digital payments, fintech or large-scale financial systems. Hands-on experience integrating with the Raast platform, including direct exposure to Raast APIs, onboarding processes and technical standards, is mandatory, and prior experience working with government entities, regulators or large public-sector financial systems is strongly preferred.
