Irrigation Department — Thatta Drainage Division (Thatta) under Sindh Irrigation is looking to fill 1 Khalasi post on a permanent basis. This recruitment is open to both male and female candidates across Sindh, and interested candidates are encouraged to review the complete eligibility criteria before applying.

The position is classified under the BPS-1 pay scale, and the appointment terms including salary, allowances, and service conditions will be governed by the applicable rules of Sindh Irrigation. Duty station: Thatta Drainage Division @ Makli. Selected candidates will be required to report to this location, although the department reserves the right to transfer or reassign personnel to other locations within Sindh as operational needs arise.

Applicants must hold a valid Thatta domicile. Only candidates who can furnish a properly issued domicile certificate from the relevant district or authority will be considered eligible for this position.

The age limit for this position is 18 to 28 years, calculated as on the closing date of applications. Age relaxation, if any, will be granted in accordance with the applicable government rules and notifications.

Age note: Upper age relaxation of 5 years as per government notification dated 06-03-2025. Quotas: Disability 5%, Minorities 5%, Women 15%.

To be eligible, candidates must hold Primary from a recognized institution. All degrees and certificates must be verified, and candidates should be prepared to present original documents during the selection process.

In addition to the written test, shortlisted candidates will be called for a personal interview. The interview will be conducted by a panel appointed by Sindh Irrigation, and candidates must bring all original documents.
