Islamabad Capital Territory Police has announced a recruitment drive for 22 Constable (Band Staff) posts on a permanent basis. The opportunity is open to male candidates who meet the prescribed eligibility criteria, and the vacancy falls under the purview of Police.

Falling under BPS-7, the post offers a compensation package in line with government pay scales for permanent appointments. The exact salary and benefits will be determined as per the rules and regulations applicable to permanent positions at this grade.

The place of posting for this position is Islamabad Capital Territory Police. Candidates should be prepared to serve at this location or at any other place within the jurisdiction of Islamabad Capital Territory Police as assigned by the competent authority. Transfer and posting decisions rest solely with the department.

The posts have been distributed as follows: 1 open merit, 2 minority quota. Candidates applying under reserved quotas must provide supporting documentation at the time of application or during the interview stage to validate their eligibility under the relevant category.

The age limit for this position is 18 to 25 years, calculated as on the closing date of applications. Age relaxation, if any, will be granted in accordance with the applicable government rules and notifications.

The minimum educational qualification required for this position is: Matric or equivalent from a recognized Board; expertise in related musical instruments. Physical Standards: Minimum height 5 ft-7 in; Chest 33x34 1/2 inches; must pass endurance test (1 mile run in 7 minutes, male candidates).. Candidates must hold the stated qualification from a recognized university or institution at the time of application.

The selection process will include a Physical/Endurance Test + Written/Computer-based Test + Interview. Only candidates who qualify in the test will be called for subsequent stages.

Candidates are required to pay a non-refundable processing fee of Rs. 2000. The fee must be submitted through the designated banking channels or online payment methods.
