The minimum educational qualification required for this position is: Master's degree/16 years education in International Relations, Political Science, Defence & Strategic Studies, Peace & Conflict Studies, Defence & Diplomatic Studies or comparable discipline with South Asia focus (e.g. MA International Relations, MS Political Science, MPhil Defence Studies, or equivalent). Candidates must hold the stated qualification from a recognized university or institution at the time of application.

Experience requirement: Minimum 2 years research experience at a reputable institution; at least two published research papers in HEC-recognized journals. Candidates must demonstrate the required experience through experience certificates, appointment letters, or other official documentation.
