Quantum Valley Pakistan has announced a recruitment drive for 1 Development Fellow (GIS) post on a contractual basis. The opportunity is open to both male and female candidates who meet the prescribed eligibility criteria, and the vacancy falls under the purview of Ministry of Defence.

Duty station: Islamabad. Selected candidates will be required to report to this location, although the department reserves the right to transfer or reassign personnel to other locations within Islamabad as operational needs arise.

The posts have been distributed as follows: 1 open merit. Candidates applying under reserved quotas must provide supporting documentation at the time of application or during the interview stage to validate their eligibility under the relevant category.

Candidates must be between 18 and 30 years of age as on the last date for submission of applications. Upper age relaxation may be available as per government rules.

The minimum educational qualification required for this position is: Bachelor's degree in GIS, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Computer Science, or related field. Experience with GIS mapping software (ESRI & QGIS). Strong understanding of spatial data concepts, projections and coordinate systems. Basic knowledge of PostgreSQL/PostGIS or spatial databases preferred.. Candidates must hold the stated qualification from a recognized university or institution at the time of application.
