A fresh job notification from Ministry of Information Technology and Telecommunication (MOITT) - PIU-Ignite, Digital Economy Enhancement Project (DEEP) covers 1 Lead Architect (National Open Data Ecosystem) position on a contractual basis. Applications are accepted from both male and female candidates who fulfil the minimum eligibility requirements set by MOITT.

Duty station: Islamabad. Selected candidates will be required to report to this location, although the department reserves the right to transfer or reassign personnel to other locations within Islamabad as operational needs arise.

Candidates must be between 18 and 35 years of age as on the last date for submission of applications. Upper age relaxation may be available as per government rules.

To be eligible, candidates must hold Master's degree or equivalent from HEC-recognised or internationally reputable institution in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, Data Engineering, or related field from a recognized institution. All degrees and certificates must be verified, and candidates should be prepared to present original documents during the selection process.

Applicants are required to have 10+ years post-qualification professional experience in software architecture, enterprise systems design, data platform engineering, or digital public infrastructure; 7+ years as lead architect, principal engineer, or equivalent. Relevant experience must be substantiated with proper documentation, including experience certificates from previous employers.

Contract duration 21 months; World Bank-funded project preferred experience
