NADRA Technologies Limited (NTL) is hiring a Company Secretary at the Deputy Director level on a contractual basis, based in Islamabad. The role is central to NTL's corporate governance function, responsible for ensuring the company's compliance with the Companies Act 2017 and other applicable regulatory frameworks, organising and documenting Board, Committee and Shareholder meetings, and maintaining statutory registers and corporate filings. Given NTL's status as a public-sector technology company under NADRA, this is a senior governance-focused opportunity for qualified company secretaries or corporate-law professionals looking to work within Pakistan's digital-identity and technology sector.
Eligible candidates should hold a Master's degree in Business Administration, Commerce or Corporate Law, or an equivalent minimum of 16 years of HEC-recognised education, and should ideally be a member of a recognised body of professional accountants or corporate/chartered secretaries. A minimum of six to eight years of relevant professional experience in the public or private sector is required, along with strong competencies in corporate governance, regulatory compliance, stakeholder coordination and both written and verbal communication. The maximum age limit is 44 years, inclusive of the standard five-year age relaxation, and the position is open to all eligible Pakistani nationals, with women, minorities, transgender persons and differently-abled candidates specifically encouraged to apply.
Applications must be submitted online only via the NADRA careers portal at careers.nadra.gov.pk; no application fee is mentioned in the advertisement. Selected candidates will be engaged on an initial three-year contract, extendable subject to performance, with a six-month probation period, and only shortlisted applicants will be called for test or interview. Note that the job listing's header specifies a closing date of 6 September 2026, while the body text of the same advertisement separately states 4 September 2026 in its terms and conditions — a discrepancy noted here for transparency. Applicants are strongly advised to apply as early as possible rather than relying on the later of the two dates, given this inconsistency in NADRA's own posting.
