About This Job

National Bank of Pakistan's Risk Management function is hiring a CAD Officer - Islamic (OG-II/OG-I) for its Credit Administration Division in Lahore, reporting to the Islamic CAD Manager. The role is focused on the operational backbone of Islamic financing — scrutinizing sanction advices and facility offer letters against the bank's Credit Approval Authority Booklet and Shariah guidelines, preparing standard documentation for Corporate, Commercial, SME, and Agriculture accounts, and issuing disbursement authorization certificates once everything checks out.

Candidates need a minimum graduation or equivalent from a HEC-recognized local or international institution, with a Master's degree or other relevant professional certification seen as a plus. NBP wants at least 3 years of banking experience, of which 2 years should be in Credit Administration, Credit Operations, Loan Processing, or Banking Operations, in either an Islamic or conventional setup. The job also expects a working knowledge of commercial and SME financing, credit administration and legal-documentation review, pledge operations, and collateral/risk monitoring, along with the interpersonal skills to coordinate registration of charge with SECP and Shariah Compliance perfection certificates.

This is a three-year contract, renewable at NBP's discretion, with compensation and benefits per the bank's own policy. Shortlisting is based strictly on meeting the criteria above, with a test and/or panel interview to follow (no TA/DA admissible). Qualification Required
