National Bank of Pakistan, "The Nation's Bank," has opened a contractual vacancy for Equity Dealer (OG-I) in its Treasury & Capital Markets area, based in Karachi. The role reports to the Wing Head - Portfolio Management and sits at the center of NBP's equity trading desk, covering daily trading reports, execution summaries, and market updates that feed the bank's portfolio management function. It is a strong opportunity for banking professionals with a treasury or capital markets background who want to work at one of Pakistan's largest and oldest banks as it continues transforming into a more agile, future-fit institution.

Eligible candidates need at least a graduation degree or equivalent from a HEC-recognized local or international university, college, or institution, though a Master's degree with a major in Finance, Accounting, or Business is preferred. On the experience side, NBP is looking for a minimum of 4 years of banking experience, with at least 2 of those years specifically in the Treasury function of a bank, DFI, mutual fund, or brokerage house. Beyond the paper qualifications, the bank wants someone with strong analytical and equity-execution skills, comfort with Microsoft Office tools, and a working knowledge of the regulatory guidelines that govern trading activity, since the job also involves coordinating with TROPS, brokers, and other market stakeholders while staying within allocated risk limits.

The position is offered on a contractual basis for three years, renewable at the bank's discretion, with a compensation package as per NBP policy. Qualification Required
