Security Inspector (Equivalent to Grade-15)

About This Job

National Grid Company of Pakistan Limited (NGC), formerly NTDC, is hiring for its Security Cadre on a contract basis through the National Testing Service. The Security Inspector post, equivalent to Grade-15, targets retired non-commissioned officers with a military security background, and preference goes to candidates from Punjab, Sindh, and Balochistan. The role supports NGC's security operations for its nationwide power transmission and despatch infrastructure.

Eligible candidates are retired Subedars or Naib Subedars from the fighting and supporting arms of the Army and Civil Armed Forces, along with eligible PAF Combatants/Provost and PN Marines/Provost, CAF personnel from fighting and supporting arms only. A good character record is required, and candidates must meet a medical category "A" fitness standard, including physical fitness tests -- a 1-mile run, push-ups, sit-ups, and reach-ups -- assessed at the interview stage. The maximum age is 50 years as reckoned on the advertisement's closing date.

Applications must be submitted online via NTS with a Rs. 575 test fee deposited against the generated challan, and the printed application plus paid challan must reach NTS's Islamabad office by courier or post before the deadline. Educational and experience documents are not required at the application stage but must be produced, duly attested, if shortlisted for the written test and interview. Selected candidates will serve on a three-year contract, extendable by mutual consent, with a tentative test date of 23 August 2026. Applications must reach NTS on or before 3 August 2026.

7. Get your fingerprints updated in the NADRA system beforehand -- biometric verification of all shortlisted candidates will be carried out at NTS Test Centers before the written test begins.
8. Be prepared for the physical fitness tests (1 mile run, push-ups, sit-ups, reach-ups) and a medical category "A" assessment at the interview stage.
