National IT Board (NITB) is hiring a Network Manager (PPS-8) on contract for one vacancy in Islamabad, responsible for the network backbone of the Smart Islamabad Initiative's Fusion Centre, recruited through the National Job Portal (NJP). The role covers managing and monitoring the NTC OFC ring network, Data Centre connectivity, and all network infrastructure supporting the Fusion Centre's operations.

The Network Manager will configure and maintain routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs, VLANs and point-to-point links, coordinate with NTC on fault resolution, bandwidth management and network upgrades, and ensure network availability, performance and security posture stay aligned with government cybersecurity standards. Maintaining network diagrams, configuration documentation and incident logs is also part of the role. Eligible candidates should hold a Master's or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Networking or Telecom (14-16 years of education); CCNA, CCNP or equivalent networking certifications are preferred, along with 5 years of relevant experience.
