National IT Board (NITB) is hiring a Project Coordinator and Management Professional (PPS-9) on contract for one vacancy in Islamabad, to support the Project Management Unit of the Smart Islamabad Initiative, recruited through the National Job Portal (NJP). The role is a coordination-focused position responsible for keeping project activities, timelines and inter-agency engagements on track across the PMU's many workstreams.
Duties include preparing and maintaining vendor-coordination records, implementation documentation, decision logs and progress reports, drafting meeting minutes, official briefs, and correspondence on SRS/FRS and PSDP progress reports, and tracking action items across PMU functions while escalating delays to the Project Director. The role also supports stakeholder communications and vendor coordination with the Planning Commission and MoIT&T. Eligible candidates should hold a Master's degree in Management Sciences or IT (16 years of education) with a major in Communications; PMP, PRINCE2 or CAPM certification is preferred, and experience in public-sector communication/coordination and technical writing is required, alongside 10 years of relevant experience. The upper age limit is 55 years, with relaxation already incorporated per NITB's posting, and the minimum age defaults to 18. The post is open to both genders with no domicile restriction stated.
