About This Job

National IT Board (NITB) is recruiting 16 Project Support Officers (PPS-8) on contract to staff its Command & Control Centre in Islamabad under the Smart Islamabad Initiative, hired through the National Job Portal (NJP). Project Support Officers will monitor assigned city dashboards covering traffic, environment, utilities and safety from the Command & Control Centre, respond to alerts generated by AI and IoT platforms by logging incidents and escalating per SOPs, and operate the video management system (VMS), GIS displays and IoT analytics consoles. The role also involves data entry, routine checks and shift-handover documentation.
