National Grid Company of Pakistan Limited (NGC) has announced a recruitment drive for 78 Junior Engineer (Electrical) posts on a contractual basis. The opportunity is open to both male and female candidates who meet the prescribed eligibility criteria, and the vacancy falls under the purview of NTS.

This role carries a BPS-17 pay scale. Compensation and benefits will follow the standard government framework for contractual appointments, including all admissible allowances as per departmental rules.

The place of posting for this position is Anywhere in Pakistan as per requirement of the Company. Candidates should be prepared to serve at this location or at any other place within the jurisdiction of National Grid Company of Pakistan Limited (NGC) as assigned by the competent authority. Transfer and posting decisions rest solely with the department.

The posts have been distributed as follows: 11 open merit, 10 women quota, 5 minority quota, 2 disabled persons quota. Candidates applying under reserved quotas must provide supporting documentation at the time of application or during the interview stage to validate their eligibility under the relevant category.

The age limit for this position is 18 to 28 years, calculated as on the closing date of applications. Age relaxation, if any, will be granted in accordance with the applicable government rules and notifications.

Educational requirement: Minimum BE/BSc Engineering (Electrical / Electronics) with 1st Division / 2.5 or above CGPA from HEC recognized Universities AND having valid PEC registration; Candidates must possess relevant degree/equivalence recognized by HEC; Candidates awaiting their results are not eligible to apply. Candidates are expected to have completed this qualification from a recognized institution. Original documents and attested copies will be required at the time of the interview.

The selection process will include a Written. Only candidates who qualify in the test will be called for subsequent stages.

Candidates are required to pay a non-refundable processing fee of Rs. 650. The fee must be submitted through the designated banking channels or online payment methods.
