The Pakistan Air Force (PAF) has announced online registration for Airmen Induction – July 2026, calling on eligible young Pakistani men to join the Mechanical Transport (MT) Driver trade group. This nationwide recruitment drive offers Matric-level candidates, especially those already holding a commercial driving license, the chance to build a disciplined, respected career in one of Pakistan's premier defence services. Airmen selected into the MT Driver cadre operate and maintain PAF's ground transport fleet at bases across the country, keeping personnel, equipment and supplies moving. To be eligible for the MT Driver trade, male Pakistani citizens aged between 17½ and 21 years (as on 28 December 2026) who are unmarried, stand between 168 cm and 188 cm in height, and have 6/6 vision without glasses may apply; candidates holding a valid LTV/HTV driving license are eligible under an extended age bracket of 18 to 23 years. Academically, candidates must have passed Matriculation in the Science group with a minimum of 65% aggregate marks, including at least 60% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics, along with a minimum of 60% marks in English. As with other trades in this induction cycle, relaxed academic criteria apply to candidates from less-developed and under-privileged domiciles specified in the official advertisement.

Online registration for this induction cycle opened on 6 July 2026 and closes on 19 July 2026, and applications are accepted only through the official portal, www.joinpaf.gov.pk; no manual or walk-in applications are entertained.
