Pakistan Agricultural Research Council has announced a recruitment drive for 1 Whole Time Member (Animal Sciences) post on a contractual basis. The opportunity is open to both male and female candidates who meet the prescribed eligibility criteria, and the vacancy falls under the purview of PARC.

The posting will be at Islamabad (may be posted anywhere in Pakistan). However, the appointing authority retains the right to post the selected candidate to any office or station under Pakistan Agricultural Research Council within Islamabad or elsewhere in Pakistan as circumstances demand.

The posts have been distributed as follows: 1 open merit. Candidates applying under reserved quotas must provide supporting documentation at the time of application or during the interview stage to validate their eligibility under the relevant category.

The prescribed age limit is 18-62 years (as on the closing date). Age relaxation rules issued by the government from time to time shall apply.

Age note: MP-II grade. No BPS. No age relaxation mentioned.

Educational requirement: Ph.D. in relevant discipline from HEC recognized university. Candidates must have first Division OR CGPA 3.00 or more in highest degree with not more than one second division or Grade C in academic career. At least 20 years proven experience in R&D organization/recognized institutions. Minimum 15 research publications in HEC recognized referred journals/books. Demonstrated leadership in strategic planning and management of multi-disciplinary agricultural research programs.. Candidates are expected to have completed this qualification from a recognized institution. Original documents and attested copies will be required at the time of the interview.

Experience requirement: 20 years. Candidates must demonstrate the required experience through experience certificates, appointment letters, or other official documentation.
