A fresh job notification from Islamabad Capital Territory Police covers 41 LDC positions on a permanent basis. Applications are accepted from both male and female candidates who fulfil the minimum eligibility requirements set by Police.

The position is classified under the BPS-11 pay scale, and the appointment terms including salary, allowances, and service conditions will be governed by the applicable rules of Police. Selected candidates can expect standard government benefits applicable to permanent posts at this grade level.

The posting will be at Islamabad Capital Territory Police. However, the appointing authority retains the right to post the selected candidate to any office or station under Islamabad Capital Territory Police within Islamabad or elsewhere in Pakistan as circumstances demand.

The posts have been distributed as follows: 2 open merit, 3 women quota, 2 minority quota. Candidates applying under reserved quotas must provide supporting documentation at the time of application or during the interview stage to validate their eligibility under the relevant category.

Candidates must be between 18 and 25 years of age as on the last date for submission of applications. Upper age relaxation may be available as per government rules.

Age note: Age relaxed to 26 years, 11 months & 7 days only for candidates who qualified for the interview stage in ICT Police Recruitment Process 2024, per Islamabad High Court order dated 16.03.2026. Cut-off date for age calculation is the closing date 08.07.2026.

Applicants must possess at least Matriculation; minimum typing speed 30 w.p.m; must be computer literate. Must qualify the mandatory IT Training Course of National Information Technology Board (NITB) before completion of probation period. from a university or board recognized by the Higher Education Commission (HEC) or the relevant accrediting body.

A Computer-based/Written & Skill Test + Interview will be conducted as part of the recruitment process.

Candidates are advised to read the complete advertisement carefully before applying. Only shortlisted candidates will be called for test/interview, and no TA/DA will be admissible for appearing in the test or interview. The decision of Police in all matters relating to selection, appointment, and posting shall be final.
