Islamabad Capital Territory Police has announced a recruitment drive for 28 UDC posts on a permanent basis. The opportunity is open to both male and female candidates who meet the prescribed eligibility criteria, and the vacancy falls under the purview of Police.

This role carries a BPS-13 pay scale. Compensation and benefits will follow the standard government framework for permanent appointments, including all admissible allowances as per departmental rules.

The place of posting for this position is Islamabad Capital Territory Police. Candidates should be prepared to serve at this location or at any other place within the jurisdiction of Islamabad Capital Territory Police as assigned by the competent authority. Transfer and posting decisions rest solely with the department.

The posts have been distributed as follows: 1 open merit, 2 women quota, 1 minority quota. Candidates applying under reserved quotas must provide supporting documentation at the time of application or during the interview stage to validate their eligibility under the relevant category.

Candidates must be between 18 and 25 years of age as on the last date for submission of applications. Upper age relaxation may be available as per government rules.

Age note: Age relaxed to 26 years, 11 months & 7 days only for candidates who qualified for the interview stage in ICT Police Recruitment Process 2024, per Islamabad High Court order dated 16.03.2026. Cut-off date for age calculation is the closing date 08.07.2026.

The minimum educational qualification required for this position is: Intermediate; must be computer literate (MS Office/Internet/Typing Skill). Must qualify the mandatory IT Training Course of National Information Technology Board (NITB) before completion of probation period.. Candidates must hold the stated qualification from a recognized university or institution at the time of application.

The selection process will include a Computer-based/Written & Skill Test + Interview. Only candidates who qualify in the test will be called for subsequent stages.

Candidates are required to pay a non-refundable processing fee of Rs. 2000. The fee must be submitted through the designated banking channels or online payment methods.
