About This Job

PSEB is inviting applications from both male and female candidates for 1 vacant Chief Skills Development Officer (CSDO) post within Pakistan Software Export Board (PSEB) - Skills & Capacity Development. The appointment will be made on a contractual basis, and the recruitment is being carried out to fill operational needs within the department.

The posting will be at Islamabad. However, the appointing authority retains the right to post the selected candidate to any office or station under Pakistan Software Export Board (PSEB) - Skills & Capacity Development within Islamabad or elsewhere in Pakistan as circumstances demand.

The prescribed age limit is 18-56 years (as on the closing date). Age relaxation rules issued by the government from time to time shall apply.

Age note: Upper age limit 56 years; government age relaxation rules apply as admissible

Educational requirement: Minimum 16 years of education; Bachelor's degree in ICT, Business, Education Leadership, Management Sciences, Public Policy, or related field from an HEC-recognized institution; candidates from other disciplines with relevant skills development experience also considered. Candidates are expected to have completed this qualification from a recognized institution. Original documents and attested copies will be required at the time of the interview.

Experience requirement: Minimum 12 years post-qualification progressive leadership experience in IT workforce development; experience in higher education, government liaison, and strategic planning preferred; track record managing large teams and complex multi-stakeholder projects; proven funding acquisition and project management capability. Candidates must demonstrate the required experience through experience certificates, appointment letters, or other official documentation.
