Department of Gender Studies, University of the Punjab
Apply before 18 September 2026. Full application steps and eligibility criteria are below.
About This Job
The University of the Punjab, Lahore, is inviting applications from Pakistani nationals for one Attendant post in its Department of Gender Studies, on a purely Daily Wages/Contingent basis for a period of 89 days. The engagement is being made to pay wages out of self-supporting/departmental funds/contingent paid staff budget, in line with the policy framework the Government of the Punjab issued for work-charged employees and daily-wage/contingent staff, as adopted and implemented by the university. This is one of several daily-wage support-staff vacancies the University of the Punjab has advertised across its constituent departments and campuses in recent weeks, following the same standard hiring process used for its other contingent-basis positions.
The post requires a Middle-level education, and the university notes that higher qualifications or relevant experience will be given preference where candidates possess them. The engagement is purely on a daily-wages/contingent basis and does not confer any right to regular appointment or job regularization under any circumstances, nor any right to contest hiring, continuation, or termination decisions in a court of law. Government servants who wish to apply must produce a Departmental Permission Certificate or No-Objection Certificate from their parent department's competent authority along with their hard-copy application. The university applies its standard age, qualification, and experience criteria as prescribed in the relevant service rules, and government quotas are observed as per policy and the suitability of candidates for the post.
Interested candidates must apply online through the university's dedicated portal at http://111.68.103.6/nonteaching, since applications submitted through any channel other than the online portal will not be accepted; the online application window closes at 4:00 PM on the closing date. A processing fee of Rs. 500/- per post must be deposited through the prescribed challan at any HBL or UBL branch, with the original deposit receipt attached to the hard copy of the application; candidates applying for more than one post must pay this fee separately for each post. After applying online, candidates must send one signed hard copy of the completed application form, along with an updated CV and attested copies of degrees, certificates, testimonials, and a recent passport-size photograph, to the Office of the Department of Gender Studies, University of the Punjab, Quaid-i-Azam Campus, Lahore, strictly by registered post or courier service, as hard copies will not be accepted by hand. Only shortlisted candidates will be called for an interview, and no TA/DA is admissible. All applications, both online and by post, must be completed on or before the closing date of Friday, September 18, 2026.
