The Centre of Excellence in Solid State Physics at the University of the Punjab, Quaid-e-Azam Campus, Lahore, has invited applications from qualified male and female candidates for part-time visiting faculty positions to teach a set of general-education courses during the current academic session. Unlike a typical physics-specific hiring round, this particular notice covers a broad slate of humanities and general-studies subjects - including Functional English, Pakistan Studies, Ideology and Constitution of Pakistan, Psychology, Civics, Islamiyat, Quran Translation and Entrepreneurship - reflecting the Centre's need for visiting instructors across its degree programs' compulsory general-education component, in addition to its core Solid State Physics, Nanoscience and Biophysics teaching.
