About This Job

Pakistan Railways (Ministry of Railways) under Railways is looking to fill 1 Project Director (Rehabilitation of Track Machines) post on a contractual basis. This recruitment is open to both male and female candidates across Islamabad, and interested candidates are encouraged to review the complete eligibility criteria before applying.

The position is classified under the PPS-10 pay scale, and the appointment terms including salary, allowances, and service conditions will be governed by the applicable rules of Railways. Selected candidates can expect standard government benefits applicable to contractual posts at this grade level.

The posting will be at Lahore / Project Site or anywhere in Pakistan (PPS-10). However, the appointing authority retains the right to post the selected candidate to any office or station under Pakistan Railways (Ministry of Railways) within Islamabad or elsewhere in Pakistan as circumstances demand.

The prescribed age limit is 18-62 years (as on the closing date). Age relaxation rules issued by the government from time to time shall apply.

To be eligible, candidates must hold Master in Project Management or B.Sc. Engineering (Mechanical) or MBA/MPA/any other relevant field from HEC recognized institutions; at least 16 years of education; all degrees must be recognized by PEC/HEC from a recognized institution. All degrees and certificates must be verified, and candidates should be prepared to present original documents during the selection process.

Experience requirement: Minimum 15 years' experience of project management or relevant field; must be conversant with PPRA rules, contract management, EPC contracts and MS Project; additional marks for master's degree in Project Management or diploma in Project Management. Candidates must demonstrate the required experience through experience certificates, appointment letters, or other official documentation.
