First Women Bank Ltd (FWBL) is hiring a Recovery Officer for its Special Asset Management (SAM) unit at Head Office, Karachi. The role is responsible for managing, reducing, and recovering non-performing loans (NPLs), delinquent accounts, and distressed assets, minimizing loss to the bank through rehabilitation, restructuring, or legal pursuit of high-risk and defaulted accounts.
Key responsibilities include achieving assigned recovery targets by following up with defaulted customers, negotiating settlements, and restructuring or rescheduling debt; reviewing delinquent accounts and assessing borrower financial position and security quality; initiating and monitoring legal proceedings against willful defaulters in coordination with legal teams; managing third-party collection agencies in line with SBP regulations; preparing MIS reports on NPL portfolio status and recovery progress; and coordinating repossession, valuation, and sale of secured assets.
Candidates should hold a minimum Bachelor's degree, preferably a Master's, with 3-5 years of relevant banking/recovery experience.
