About This Job

NUST's Works Directorate in Islamabad is recruiting a Sub-Divisional Officer (SDO) for Electrical & Mechanical works, tasked with overseeing the operation, maintenance and repair of electrical and mechanical systems to ensure the safe and efficient functioning of university facilities and utilities. Responsibilities include managing operation and maintenance of equipment, planning preventive and corrective maintenance, inspecting facilities for safety and technical compliance, preparing maintenance reports and technical specifications, and responding to equipment breakdowns and emergencies.

Candidates must hold a three-year Diploma in Electrical/Mechanical engineering from a recognized institution, with 2 years of relevant experience required; retired Armed Forces personnel with a relevant trade background may also apply. Knowledge of computer applications is a required skill. The eligible age range is 20 to 45 years.
