Irrigation Department — Thatta Drainage Division (Thatta) under Sindh Irrigation is looking to fill 6 Gauge Reader posts on a permanent basis. This recruitment is open to both male and female candidates across Sindh, and interested candidates are encouraged to review the complete eligibility criteria before applying.

This role carries a BPS-2 pay scale. Compensation and benefits will follow the standard government framework for permanent appointments, including all admissible allowances as per departmental rules.

Duty station: Thatta Drainage Division @ Makli. Selected candidates will be required to report to this location, although the department reserves the right to transfer or reassign personnel to other locations within Sindh as operational needs arise.

Eligibility is restricted to candidates with a Thatta domicile. The domicile certificate must be issued by the competent authority and should be presented at the time of application or interview as required by Sindh Irrigation.

The prescribed age limit is 18-28 years (as on the closing date). Age relaxation rules issued by the government from time to time shall apply.

Age note: Upper age relaxation of 5 years as per government notification dated 06-03-2025. Quotas: Disability 5%, Minorities 5%, Women 15%.

The minimum educational qualification required for this position is: Primary. Candidates must hold the stated qualification from a recognized university or institution at the time of application.

An interview will form part of the final selection stage. Only candidates who clear the written test and any preliminary screening will be invited. Candidates should bring original documents for verification.
