Sindh Irrigation is inviting applications from both male and female candidates for 1 vacant Water Man post within Irrigation Department — Thatta Drainage Division (Thatta). The appointment will be made on a permanent basis, and the recruitment is being carried out to fill operational needs within the department.

This role carries a BPS-1 pay scale. Compensation and benefits will follow the standard government framework for permanent appointments, including all admissible allowances as per departmental rules.

Duty station: Thatta Drainage Division @ Makli. Selected candidates will be required to report to this location, although the department reserves the right to transfer or reassign personnel to other locations within Sindh as operational needs arise.

A Thatta domicile is mandatory for this position. Candidates must possess a valid domicile certificate issued by the appropriate authority, and this will be verified during the selection process.

The prescribed age limit is 18-28 years (as on the closing date). Age relaxation rules issued by the government from time to time shall apply.

Age note: Upper age relaxation of 5 years as per government notification dated 06-03-2025. Quotas: Disability 5%, Minorities 5%, Women 15%.

The minimum educational qualification required for this position is: Primary. Candidates must hold the stated qualification from a recognized university or institution at the time of application.

An interview will form part of the final selection stage. Only candidates who clear the written test and any preliminary screening will be invited. Candidates should bring original documents for verification.
