The Indus River System Authority (IRSA) is recruiting project staff for its Telemetry Project, installing a real-time discharge-monitoring system at 27 key sites across the Indus Basin Irrigation System. Twenty-six posts of Technician (Electrical) are on offer, one of the largest categories in this recruitment drive, spread across project sites nationwide.

The Technician will assist the Sub Engineer (Electronics/Telecom/Electrical/Power) with field equipment maintenance and repairing, testing and troubleshooting electronic systems and components. Eligible candidates must be up to 30 years of age with a one-year technical certification in Electrical/Electronics from a Government-recognized vocational or technical training institute, preferably 3 years of experience, proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings, schematics and manuals, a strong understanding of electronic principles, circuits and components, and computer literacy.

This is a project-mode appointment on the PPS-03 pay package of Rs. 43,750 per month plus 5% annual increment, with postings possible anywhere at project sites in Pakistan. Qualification Required
