The Tribal Areas Electric Supply Company (TESCO) has announced a contract-basis vacancy for Deputy Director (Legal), equivalent to BPS-18, based at its headquarters in WAPDA House, Peshawar. The post carries an initial one-year contract term, extendable on satisfactory performance, and is being filled against an open-merit quota of one position to strengthen TESCO's in-house legal function.

Applicants must hold a minimum of an LLB degree, with an LLM or Bar-at-Law qualification given preference, along with at least 5 years of experience in corporate law, regulatory affairs, or commercial matters; candidates with prior experience in regulatory affairs or the power sector specifically will be given preference over other applicants. The maximum age limit for the post is 40 years as of the closing date of applications, and candidates currently employed in government, semi-government, or autonomous public organizations are required to apply through the proper departmental channel. TESCO has also specified that dismissed or screened-out employees of any organization, or those with a criminal record, are not eligible to apply for this position.
