First Women Bank Ltd (FWBL) is hiring a Unit Head / Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) within its Risk Management Division at Head Office, Karachi. The role is responsible for establishing, implementing, and maintaining the bank's enterprise information security strategy, ensuring confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information assets while managing cyber risk and regulatory compliance.

Key responsibilities include developing information security policies and standards; presenting cybersecurity updates to senior management and the Board; conducting risk assessments for new products and technologies; overseeing Security Operations Centre (SOC) activities, vulnerability assessments, and penetration testing; leading cybersecurity incident management and coordinating breach investigations; overseeing user access governance and least-privilege controls; ensuring secure configuration of networks, servers, databases, cloud, and applications; supporting Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery planning; and developing security awareness programs including phishing simulations.

Candidates should hold a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Information Technology, or a related field (Master's preferred), with 6-8 years of experience in information security in banking, and strong knowledge of banking regulations, cybersecurity frameworks, and the SWIFT Customer Security Controls Framework (CSCF).
