The Department of Defence & Strategic Studies, Quaid-i-Azam University, Islamabad has invited applications for Visiting Faculty positions for the BS Programme in Fall Semester 2026. The department is seeking instructors for a wide range of courses including Functional English, Expository Writing, Islamic Studies, Introduction to Social Science, Everyday Science, Mandarin, Quantitative Reasoning-I and II, Civic and Community Engagement, Defence & Strategic Policies of Russia, Nuclear Forensics, Economics of Defence, Use of Force & International Law, Military Technology, and Environment & Security. This is a per-course, semester-basis engagement rather than a permanent faculty position.

The minimum qualification required is MPhil (or an equivalent degree) from an HEC-recognized institution in a discipline relevant to the course(s) applied for; preference will be given to candidates possessing a PhD and/or substantial relevant professional experience in the field. Candidates are requested to clearly indicate, along with their CV, the specific course(s) they wish to be considered for, together with their relevant qualifications and/or experience for each. No numerical age limit, domicile restriction, or gender preference was stated in the official advertisement, issued by the Chairman, Department of Defence & Strategic Studies. No TA/DA is admissible, and visiting faculty will be remunerated as per the university's approved rules and rates.
