The Department of Earth Sciences at Quaid-i-Azam University, Islamabad has invited applications for Visiting Faculty positions to teach a range of courses in the Fall Semester 2026. The advertised courses span BS 1st semester subjects such as Functional English, Ideology and Constitution of Pakistan, Calculus and Analytical Geometry-I, Introductory Mechanics and Waves, Introduction to Computing and Understanding of the Holy Quran, BS 3rd semester subjects including Applications of ICT, Civic and Community Engagement, Basic Psychology and Probability and Statistics, as well as Introduction to Pakistan Studies for BS 5th and 7th semesters and Understanding of the Holy Quran for MPhil and PhD programs. This is a per-course, semester-basis engagement rather than a permanent faculty appointment.
Candidates applying for these Visiting Faculty positions must hold at least an MPhil degree in the relevant field; preference will be given to candidates holding a PhD in the respective discipline. Selection will also take into account the candidate's prior teaching experience and performance in the interview. No numerical age limit, domicile restriction, or gender preference was stated in the official advertisement issued by the Department of Earth Sciences (Ref: QAU(ES)2026, dated 13.08.2026), so all eligible Pakistani candidates who meet the academic qualification may apply.
