Cookie Policy
Last updated: 11 September 2026
This page covers cookies used on sarkarijobspakistan.com. The mobile app does not use browser cookies — see Section 4 below, and our Privacy Policy, for the equivalent technologies used in the app.
1. Introduction
This Cookie Policy explains how MU App Studio ("we", "us", "our") uses cookies and similar tracking technologies on the sarkarijobspakistan.com website ("Website") and, where relevant, similar technologies used within the Sarkari Jobs Pakistan mobile application ("App"). It should be read together with our Privacy Policy and Terms of Service, which together with this Cookie Policy form the complete legal framework governing your use of the Website and App.
By continuing to browse or use the Website, you agree to our use of cookies and similar technologies as described in this policy, unless you disable them as explained in Section 6 below.
2. What Are Cookies and Similar Technologies?
A cookie is a small text file placed on your device by a website you visit. Cookies are widely used to make websites work, work more efficiently, and to provide information to the site owner. Similar technologies include local storage, session storage, pixels, and mobile identifiers that perform an equivalent function on devices or within apps.
Cookies may be "session cookies" (deleted automatically when you close your browser) or "persistent cookies" (remain on your device for a set period, or until you delete them). They may also be "first-party cookies" (set directly by our Website) or "third-party cookies" (set by a service we use, such as an analytics or advertising provider).
3. Cookies We Use on This Website
Strictly Necessary Cookies: A small number of essential cookies and local-storage entries are used to keep you signed in to the Test Preparation (Prep) area of the Website between visits, and to remember basic preferences such as your selected theme. These are required for the affected features to function and cannot be switched off without losing access to them.
Analytics Cookies — Google Analytics (GA4): We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the Website — pages viewed, traffic sources, and general engagement — in aggregate and anonymised form. Google Analytics sets cookies such as _ga and _ga_* that persist for up to 2 years. See Google's Privacy Policy at policies.google.com/privacy for details.
Session Recording and Heatmaps — Microsoft Clarity: We use Microsoft Clarity to record anonymised website usage patterns (such as scrolling, clicks, and page navigation) so we can identify and fix usability issues. Clarity sets cookies such as _clck and _clsk that persist for up to 1 year. See Microsoft's Privacy Statement at privacy.microsoft.com for details.
We do not use the Website itself to serve advertising, so no advertising cookies are set through sarkarijobspakistan.com.
4. Cookies and Similar Technologies in the Mobile App
The Sarkari Jobs Pakistan mobile app does not use browser cookies, since it is not a website rendered in a browser. It does, however, use functionally similar technologies:
- Local on-device storage to keep you signed in and to cache preferences such as saved jobs.
- A Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) device token to deliver push notifications.
- A Google Play advertising identifier (AAID), used by Google AdMob to serve and measure banner, interstitial, and rewarded advertisements to free-tier users.
These app-side technologies, and how to control them (including opting out of ad personalisation from your device Settings), are described in full in our Privacy Policy, Sections 2, 6 and 7.
5. Third-Party Cookies
The third parties listed in Section 3 above (Google Analytics, Microsoft Clarity) may set their own cookies when you visit the Website, and may combine information collected through those cookies with other information they hold about you in accordance with their own privacy policies. We do not control these third-party cookies directly; please refer to each provider's own policy for details of what they collect and how to opt out.
6. How to Control or Delete Cookies
You can control and manage cookies in several ways:
- Browser Settings: Most web browsers let you refuse or delete cookies through their settings menu (usually under Privacy or Security). Refer to your browser's help documentation for exact steps, as these vary by browser and device.
- Google Analytics Opt-Out: You can install the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on, available at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout, to prevent your data from being used by Google Analytics on any website.
- Microsoft Clarity: Clarity respects browser Do Not Track settings where supported, and you may also block its cookies through your browser settings as described above.
Please note that blocking or deleting strictly necessary cookies may prevent parts of the Website — such as staying signed in to the Prep area — from working correctly.
7. Do Not Track Signals
Some browsers offer a "Do Not Track" (DNT) signal. There is currently no common industry standard for how websites should respond to DNT signals, and our Website does not currently respond differently based on a detected DNT signal, though Microsoft Clarity independently honours DNT where supported as noted above.
8. Changes to This Cookie Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time to reflect changes in the cookies and similar technologies we use, or for legal or regulatory reasons. Material changes will be reflected in an updated "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
