About This Job
Pakistan Digital Authority (PDA) is hiring an Audit Specialist (IT/Systems) to conduct technical audits of the organisation's digital infrastructure. Reporting directly to the Manager Internal Audit, the role provides objective assurance on cybersecurity posture, data governance and the effectiveness of IT controls within a high-stakes, technology-enabled environment.
Responsibilities include executing specialised audits of IT infrastructure, cybersecurity frameworks, application controls and digital assets; conducting audits and special investigations related to cybersecurity incidents, cloud operations and API integrations; and preparing technical planning, execution and reporting files for IT-related assignments. The specialist will identify control weaknesses in digital service delivery and system integrity, evaluate data-governance implementation and the security of partner-delivered systems, prepare and present IT audit reports with clear technical findings and risk-based recommendations, liaise with technical teams such as SRE, DevOps and Data during audit execution, and follow up on remediation actions via the Audit Action Tracker. Candidates need a minimum bachelor's degree (16 years of education) in Computer Science, IT, Management Information Systems or a related technical field, or a qualified/finalist ACCA, CA or ACMA with the required bachelor's degree, with CISA, CISM or CISSP designations considered a strong advantage, along with at least 4 years of pre- and post-qualification experience in IT audit, cybersecurity auditing or systems assurance.
This is a contract position on the G-7 pay grade with one vacancy at PDA's Islamabad office. Eligible candidates can apply online through the National Job Portal before the deadline of 31 July 2026.

Qualification Required
- Qualification: Minimum Bachelor's degree (16 years of education) in Computer Science, IT, Management Information Systems (MIS), or a related technical field, or qualified ACCA, CA, or ACMA (or Finalist with a completed Bachelor's degree as above). CISA (Certified Information Systems Auditor) or equivalent designations such as CISM or CISSP are highly desirable.
