Agriculture & Cooperatives Department has announced a recruitment drive for 1 Associate Professor (Soil Science) post on a permanent basis. The opportunity is open to both male and female candidates who meet the prescribed eligibility criteria, and the vacancy falls under the purview of BPSC.

Falling under BPS-19, the post offers a compensation package in line with government pay scales for permanent appointments. The exact salary and benefits will be determined as per the rules and regulations applicable to permanent positions at this grade.

The posting will be at Agriculture College, Panjgur. However, the appointing authority retains the right to post the selected candidate to any office or station under Agriculture & Cooperatives Department within Balochistan or elsewhere in Pakistan as circumstances demand.

A balochistan domicile is mandatory for this position. Candidates must possess a valid domicile certificate issued by the appropriate authority, and this will be verified during the selection process.

The prescribed age limit is 27-45 years (as on the closing date). Age relaxation rules issued by the government from time to time shall apply.

Age note: Upper age relaxation up to 43 years for govt servants

The minimum educational qualification required for this position is: Ph.D in relevant subject from a recognized University. Candidates must hold the stated qualification from a recognized university or institution at the time of application.

Experience requirement: 8 years teaching experience in BPS-17 and above in the relevant subject; 5 publications in Standard Journals recognized by HEC (with ISSN) during the last 5 years. Candidates must demonstrate the required experience through experience certificates, appointment letters, or other official documentation.

Syllabus for the written test: MCQs test in the relevant subject Candidates are advised to prepare thoroughly according to the prescribed syllabus.

The selection process will include a MCQs. Only candidates who qualify in the test will be called for subsequent stages.

Candidates are required to pay a non-refundable processing fee of Rs. 2500. The fee must be submitted through the designated banking channels or online payment methods.
