About This Job

Communication & Works Department, Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa under C&W Department KP is looking to fill 2 Draftsman posts on a permanent basis. This recruitment is open to both male and female candidates across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and interested candidates are encouraged to review the complete eligibility criteria before applying.

Falling under BPS-12, the post offers a compensation package in line with government pay scales for permanent appointments. The exact salary and benefits will be determined as per the rules and regulations applicable to permanent positions at this grade.

The posting will be at Communication & Works Department, Peshawar. However, the appointing authority retains the right to post the selected candidate to any office or station under Communication & Works Department, Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa within Khyber Pakhtunkhwa or elsewhere in Pakistan as circumstances demand.

The posts have been distributed as follows: 2 minority quota. Candidates applying under reserved quotas must provide supporting documentation at the time of application or during the interview stage to validate their eligibility under the relevant category.

Applicants must hold a valid khyber pakhtunkhwa domicile. Only candidates who can furnish a properly issued domicile certificate from the relevant district or authority will be considered eligible for this position.

The prescribed age limit is 18-30 years (as on the closing date). Age relaxation rules issued by the government from time to time shall apply.

The minimum educational qualification required for this position is: At least 2nd Division Secondary School Certificate from a recognized board; Two-year Certificate Course in Civil Draftsmanship from a recognized institute or Board of Technical Education; and six-month course in AutoCAD (2D, 3D) drawing plus computer knowledge of MS Office from a recognized Trade Testing Board (TTB).. Candidates must hold the stated qualification from a recognized university or institution at the time of application.

The selection process will include a ETEA Screening Test. Only candidates who qualify in the test will be called for subsequent stages.

An interview will form part of the final selection stage. Only candidates who clear the written test and any preliminary screening will be invited. Candidates should bring original documents for verification.

Prescribed ETEA test fee (non-refundable) payable via Easypaisa or UBL; amount as per generated deposit slip.
