About This Job

First Women Bank Ltd (FWBL) is hiring a CFT (Countering the Financing of Terrorism) Officer within its Compliance Division at Head Office, Karachi. The role is responsible for timely handling of queries from law enforcement and regulatory agencies including SBP, FIA/BPRD, ANF, and NAB.

Key responsibilities include searching bank records and maintaining proper documentation for external agency requests; following up with branches to obtain records for FIA, NAB, Customs, CTD, and ANF; disseminating miscellaneous regulator queries (loss of document, plea bargain cases, Fourth Schedule List, freezing of accounts) to relevant stakeholders; maintaining and updating the Comprehensive ATA list (Fourth and First Schedule) and CTD watchlists on the Intranet Portal; reconciling watchlists; reviewing strong/exact matches from World-Check and Auto Compliance systems; arranging AML/CFT training and tests for staff; analyzing terrorist-financing (TF) templates; and reviewing terrorism incidents.

Candidates should hold a Bachelor's degree, preferably a Master's, with relevant compliance/CFT experience and strong attention to regulatory detail.
