About This Job

SBP is inviting applications from both male and female candidates for 1 vacant Deputy Director (OG-3) - Settlements Division post within Digital Innovations & Settlements Department (DI&SD). The appointment will be made on a permanent basis, and the recruitment is being carried out to fill operational needs within the department.

The place of posting for this position is SBP, Karachi. Candidates should be prepared to serve at this location or at any other place within the jurisdiction of Digital Innovations & Settlements Department (DI&SD) as assigned by the competent authority. Transfer and posting decisions rest solely with the department.

The age limit for this position is 18 to 40 years, calculated as on the closing date of applications. Age relaxation, if any, will be granted in accordance with the applicable government rules and notifications.

The minimum educational qualification required for this position is: Bachelors or Master's Degree (16 years of education) in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, Computer Science, or a related discipline from reputable HEC recognized domestic or foreign university.. Candidates must hold the stated qualification from a recognized university or institution at the time of application.

A minimum of Minimum 8 years of experience in RTGS operations, core banking systems, or payment infrastructure. Following skills and experience will be given weightage during assessment: Clear understanding of SWIFT, ISO 20022, and high-value payment ecosystems; Familiarity with T24, Oracle Financials, and PRISM systems is an advantage; Hands-on experience with incident management tools; Strong analytical, documentation, and problem-solving skills; Ability to meet critical deadlines. is required. Candidates should provide verifiable proof of their work experience, such as experience certificates, employment letters, or office orders.
