Pakistan Digital Authority (PDA) is hiring an Executive Director - National Digital Innovation Lab (Financial Services) to serve as the Authority's sector expert for financial services, providing strategic leadership for the design, development and implementation of digital-transformation initiatives across the financial ecosystem, in alignment with the National Digital Vision and Goals.

The role covers establishing and operationalising the National Digital Innovation Lab (Financial Services) as a centre of excellence for digital financial innovation; providing sector leadership on digital payments, financial inclusion and innovation strategy; and leading the design, development, testing and deployment of digital financial platforms, payment solutions, identity-enabled financial services and fintech applications. The Executive Director will identify opportunities to apply AI, digital identity, cloud computing, blockchain and advanced analytics to strengthen financial services and consumer protection, coordinate with ministries, regulators, financial institutions, fintech companies and payment providers, ensure interoperability with national Digital Public Infrastructure, and lead multidisciplinary teams while contributing to policy recommendations on digital financial services. Candidates should hold a minimum bachelor's degree in Finance, Banking, Economics, Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration or a related field (a relevant master's degree preferred), with a minimum of 12 years' professional experience in financial services, fintech, digital banking or digital-payments transformation, including proven experience leading multidisciplinary teams of at least 15 members.

Qualification Required

Qualification: Minimum bachelor's degree in Finance, Banking, Economics, Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related discipline; a master's degree in Finance, Digital Finance, Business Administration, Financial Technology, Economics, or a related field shall be preferred.
Experience: Minimum 12 years of professional experience in financial services, fintech, digital banking, digital payments, or financial sector transformation, including leading teams of at least 15 members
