Pakistan Digital Authority (PDA) is hiring an Executive Director - National Digital Innovation Lab (Taxation) to serve as the Authority's sector expert for taxation, leading strategic digital-transformation initiatives aimed at modernising tax administration, improving revenue systems and enhancing taxpayer services, in line with the National Digital Vision and Goals.

The role covers establishing and operationalising the National Digital Innovation Lab (Taxation) as a centre of excellence for digital tax innovation; providing sector leadership on digital taxation, revenue administration and taxpayer services; and leading the design, development, testing and deployment of digital taxation platforms, taxpayer-service solutions, revenue-analytics platforms and AI-driven tax-administration solutions. The Executive Director will apply artificial intelligence, advanced analytics, automation and digital identity to improve tax administration, compliance and fraud detection, coordinate with ministries, tax authorities, regulators and provincial governments, ensure interoperability with national Digital Public Infrastructure, and lead multidisciplinary teams while contributing to policy papers on digital taxation and revenue modernisation. Candidates should hold a minimum bachelor's degree in Economics, Finance, Taxation, Public Administration, Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration or a related field (a relevant master's degree preferred), with a minimum of 15 years' professional experience in taxation, revenue administration, public finance or tax technology, including proven experience leading multidisciplinary teams of at least 15 members.

Qualification Required
