Government College University Faisalabad (GCUF) is recruiting Security Guards for the Security Section of its New Campus through a walk-in interview. Six posts are available, listed under the university's Skilled Worker category and offered purely on a daily paid labour (DPL) basis. GCUF is among the biggest public sector universities in Punjab, and its New Campus hosts thousands of students and staff every day, which makes a disciplined guard force essential for access control, patrolling and general campus safety across academic blocks, hostels, offices and parking areas, especially during busy semester periods. The advertisement is targeted at retired army soldiers and non-commissioned officers who are looking for steady work in a respected educational institution after leaving the service. Alongside the guard posts, the same notice also invites retired junior commissioned officers for three Assistant Security Officer positions in the same section.

To be eligible, applicants must be army retirees who left service within the last four years and who held a rank not below Lance Naik, Naik or Havildar. Service must have been in the Armed, Artillery, Infantry or Military Police regiments, so retirees from other arms and services do not meet the stated criteria. The age limit for this post is 35 to 45 years.
