About This Job

Health Department under BPSC is looking to fill 697 Medical Officer posts on a permanent basis. This recruitment is open to male candidates across Balochistan, and interested candidates are encouraged to review the complete eligibility criteria before applying.

The position is classified under the BPS-17 pay scale, and the appointment terms including salary, allowances, and service conditions will be governed by the applicable rules of BPSC. Selected candidates can expect standard government benefits applicable to permanent posts at this grade level.

Duty station: Zonal Allocation — Merit 119, Kalat Zone 118, Zhob Zone 79, Nasirabad Zone 79, Mekran Zone 79, Quetta Zone 79, Sibi Zone 39, Quetta City 39. Selected candidates will be required to report to this location, although the department reserves the right to transfer or reassign personnel to other locations within Balochistan as operational needs arise.

The posts have been distributed as follows: 33 minority quota, 33 disabled persons quota. Candidates applying under reserved quotas must provide supporting documentation at the time of application or during the interview stage to validate their eligibility under the relevant category.

A all balochistan domicile is mandatory for this position. Candidates must possess a valid domicile certificate issued by the appropriate authority, and this will be verified during the selection process.

The age limit for this position is 21 to 35 years, calculated as on the closing date of applications. Age relaxation, if any, will be granted in accordance with the applicable government rules and notifications.

Age note: General upper age relaxation up to 43 years granted by the Government of Balochistan for fresh candidates as well as government servants

Educational requirement: MBBS as recognized by Pakistan Medical Council; OR, an equivalent qualification from a recognized Institute by the Pakistan Medical Council. Candidates are expected to have completed this qualification from a recognized institution. Original documents and attested copies will be required at the time of the interview.

Applicants are required to have One (01) year house job. Relevant experience must be substantiated with proper documentation, including experience certificates from previous employers.

Syllabus for the written test: MCQs test in the relevant subjects. Syllabus available at www.bpsc.gob.pk Candidates are advised to prepare thoroughly according to the prescribed syllabus.

The selection process will include a MCQs. Only candidates who qualify in the test will be called for subsequent stages.

An interview will form part of the final selection stage. Only candidates who clear the written test and any preliminary screening will be invited. Candidates should bring original documents for verification.

Candidates are required to pay a non-refundable processing fee of Rs. 800. The fee must be submitted through the designated banking channels or online payment methods.

Original treasury receipt (Green Challan) required; deposit in State Bank/National Bank of Pakistan within Balochistan or an authorized Government Treasury under Head C02101 ORGAN OF STATE EXAM FEE RECEIPT BPSC, incorporating the relevant RCO/District-wise code (available at www.bpsc.gob.pk)
